I've spent most of my career leading innovative teams with empathy and effectiveness. I've spearheaded Intrapreneurial Initiatives for a major corporation, including co-creating a Training and Education department.
Now I want to help you speed-run your software career.
I love talking about soft skills, leadership skills, and Vue.js. Hit me up and let's get talking.
"UI is thinking made visual". I can tell you apply this not only to your coding projects, but to your blog as well! What a well-written, pretty, and reader-respecting piece of writing. Oh and the radio is AWESOME as well!
Welcome Jamal! I would add a few more things to the wonderful world of blogging. Writing is a process for clarifying your thinking. You translate fuzzy thoughts into cold, hard words. You become a clearer communicator. You can organize your thoughts quickly. You operate from recall instead of invention (as you've already captured your thoughts). Most people want to learn from someone who is only "two steps" ahead of them. Your blog will serve as a great way for beginner developers to get a handle on things. Keep going!
I've never agreed so hard with a Hashnode article. Brag documents are the first step to CONTEXTUALIZING YOUR WORK. Once you are able to describe what you did (process) and why it matters (impact), you are well on your way to becoming a better communicator, more positive developer, and speed-running your career. What a well-written, valuable piece. Thanks Tebogo!
Great analogy. Biggest problem for beginner devs is figuring out HOW to apply them in practical projects. Heck, even applying your skills in "impractical" projects will get you farther than not applying them at all!
