As a web developer you really don't need more than this and a terminal: Sublime Text 3 (with a ton of packages of course) Tower Kaleidoscope (can do with Sublime but Kaleidoscope is much more suitable) Postman (or Paw but I like apps that work on every OS) DB tools: Navicat MySQLWorkbench MongoChef Others: SIP Homebrew Alfred I usually do image (and any other bandwidth) optimization on the fly with Pagespeed on either nginx or Apache. All the FTP work is done either via Sublime or SSH. The clipboard management is handled by Alfred.
