About
I'm a web engineer and the founder of ManTek Technologies in Dubai. For sixteen years I've built the digital systems behind UAE newsrooms — most recently as Technical Lead, owning the WordPress + AWS architecture across a pan-Arab broadcaster's platforms, load-tested to 50,000 concurrent readers with no spike-driven outages.
That experience is the seed of NUZ, the cloud-native publishing platform for newsrooms I'm building now. Here I write about what I've learned along the way: treating WordPress as real infrastructure, the edge, web performance, and keeping publishing systems calm when the story breaks.
