Hey Michael, great to hear you’ve been looking at Manchester bootcamps too. I have to say I’ve had a very positive experience so far in terms of support and the general atmosphere is really friendly. The people that run the school and teach us, plus the mentors all seem really happy to help whenever you’re stuck - you ask a question on slack and it’s usually answered almost immediately. I won’t pretend that doing the course via zoom is the same as being in the classroom in terms of getting to know each other, but we’re doing pretty well we get assigned a buddy, the atmosphere on the zoom calls is friendly and supportive and we even managed a zoom social the other week. There’s a LOT of self study at home so that’s something to be aware of. It’s not like full time bootcamps sat in a classroom with 20 other people. I hope that helps - do ask if there’s anything else. The school might even let you join a session to see what it’s like if you’re interested?
