Joe D. McLean is a former geoduck diver and now a geoduck protector, using his firsthand experience to advocate for marine conservation. After years beneath the waters of Vancouver Island, Joe turned his focus toward protecting what he once harvested, working to educate communities about the environmental impact of geoduck harvesting and the urgent need to preserve fragile ocean ecosystems.
