No it doesn't use cookies/proxies for now. This is a CLI tool that I have written on python , which uses yt-dlp, ffmpeg under the hood, and YouTube doesn't rate limit specific IPs until we flood too many download request at a single time but apart from this yt-dlp already has built-in features like sleep for seconds when it senses possibilities of getting rate limited.
