Andriy Kovalenko

I’m Andriy Kovalenko, a 23-year-old student from Poltava, Ukraine, interested in IT, cybersecurity, and understanding how technology works beneath the surface. I’ve been curious about computers since I was a kid, usually because I wanted to figure out how something worked—or how I managed to break it. That curiosity eventually turned into a deeper interest in network security, ethical hacking, Linux, programming, and practical ways to protect systems and data. Hushnode is where I document that journey. I write about things I’m learning, experiments I’m running, problems I’m solving, and lessons I pick up along the way. Some posts are technical, some are simple explanations, and some are notes from things that didn’t go quite as planned. I’m still learning, still experimenting, and occasionally still breaking things. That’s the point. Breaking things so I can learn how to protect them.
