Hy, i'm not into this topic, but why not install a chrome extension, that also can do this (f.e. its a postfix on centOS right. but the software is very complex, including Tracking, History, Customer Management, Templating and many useful features more. One of the key features is, that it dont send all mails at once, but splits it up to more via cronjobs.

We developed our own solution and bought a whitelist certificate. works pretty well
