Haha, funny story. When my daughter was born. I was freelancing full-time. So my partner would look after my daughter during the day, and then at night. I'd be up looking after her while doing my freelance work. Still prefer writing while everyone's in bed. Put on some chillout tunes and write code. Works well. :)

Nice man. Do you eject from create-react-app or do you normally just stick with it? I love Firebase. Have used it for quick prototyping. Just haven't had a "real" project yet to push it to it's limits. Just looked at the "integrate firebase" link and wow, I'm super impressed with how far people have taken create-react-app.

Where's the excitement in taking things slow? haha ;) Serious note. It's a large project. Multiple teams. CX/UX. We should have enough time to do a few proof of concepts before we really get into the guts of the project. So there'll be a lot of consideration before we jump right it. Your right though, should always start with a small project, especially when it comes to things like React Native.

Even if you decide to use Vue. There'll be times when you need a plugin, such as a credit card type/format detector, which only runs on top of jQuery.

Maybe I'm missing something but how does Elm "aim its scissors squarely at the knot of complexity that is front end development"? I looked at the source examples in the article and in all honestly, if I turned up tomorrow at work and suggested that we adopt Elm. I'd get shot. Even though JavaScript's imperfect. It's so common and ingrained in everything that we do (front, back, test, tools, devices, etc) that nearly everyone on our team can get by, and that goes for other teams I've worked with in the past. So yeah, I'm genuinely curious. How would Elm make things less complex? :)

@muscaiu Dude, been there. And yeah, it was a pain in the arse. Not sure how much has changed since Angular went "final" but back when I was trying to add Bootstrap. Even Googling didn't help much.

It's a really impressive course, and even though I'm familiar with Vue. I bought it just to fill a few gaps, and ended up watching 183 of 332 videos. Really love the format. If any of you guys miss the sale. Make sure you do a quick Google search for Udemy coupon. There's always at least one that you can use.
