I am a nomad and I've been building a React JS based open source social network engine called Twinkle for the past 2 years. My goal for year 2018 is to make it very easy for anyone with knowledge in React JS and Node JS to set up their own social networking websites using this engine and to make a simple portal page where visitors can easily search and browse through these websites. I'm self-taught, and I've never worked with other people on an open source project before. After learning the basics, I learned mostly by building my project (social network site) and googling for solutions whenever I encountered a problem outside of my knowledge. Most of the time the answers were in the Stack Overflow, but sometimes I cloned other people's repositories and reverse engineered them until I got my answers.
