Yeah, had that issue. That's why had to keep both datetime and datetime with precision as union. That actually solved things in my use case. But yeah, plenty of users are facing this issue.

Yeah, validation becomes necessity when you don't have control over the data, but we definitely want it to be as light and fast as possible.

You might have to an union of iso datetime and datetime with precision -1 .

the npm ci is really a good point, i'll update the blog. but for the overrides i have some mixed feeling for it, i did face some weird ui bugs while i was using the MUI and emotion packages. it might be a skill issue from before, but it does breaks a lot of things if there are multiple packages are using a common one, but with different version as dependencies. and if there is a similar case vulnerable package, i just pin and wait only if it's a low severity. or i'll have to swap out the package.

True, can't be too dependent on model output. All models behave very differently even under the same prompt. The structural validation is not optional, it's a necessity.
