React Native has the performance with native views and also ease of development with Javascript whereas Ionic is still a web view although optimized for mobile. Go for React Native!

Nice post but this app doesn't work if browser doesn't support geolocation or user doesn't allow to share location. may be ipinfo.io can be used in that case to get location and it seems to be more accurate than HTML geolocation API.
