I work at a marketing firm as the only front-end web developer on staff. When I'm not at work, I'm backpacking in the PNW, trying new restaurants in the area, and playing video games or board games with friends.

Preach! Why is this happening? I feel like learning any framework is useless because by the time I get comfortable using it, it's obsolete. I'd rather stick with something slightly "older" and master it than chase the most popular framework to justify a pay increase.
