Deep dives into Go concurrency, distributed systems design, and edge AI infrastructure.
About
I'm Radhakishan Surwase (RK), an Associate Technical Architect based in Pune, India, with 13+ years of experience building distributed systems, edge AI platforms, and SaaS products at scale.
My work spans IoT, streaming systems, and distributed architecture — from maritime telemetry systems processing real-time data at Maersk, to AIOps platforms at Encora, to large-scale educational platforms serving millions during nearly a decade at MKCL. I currently work on edge AI infrastructure and distributed platforms, with deep focus on Go, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
I write here about the problems that come up when systems actually run at scale — Go concurrency and runtime internals, backpressure and WAL design, edge computing constraints, and the architectural decisions behind distributed platforms. Less tutorial, more "here's what broke and why, and how we fixed it."
Outside of writing code, I've spent years on technical interview panels and now split my time between architecture, business analysis, and Scrum Master responsibilities — which shapes how I think about the tradeoffs behind engineering decisions, not just the code itself.
