Thank you, this is such a thoughtful comment! You picked up on exactly what I was going for. Separating the recommender from the LLM made debugging much easier too, because when a suggestion was off I could tell whether the problem was the ranking or the explanation. The "Milky Way" example was actually what convinced me embeddings were worth it
