I love all things UI/UX. I am also fond of JS frameworks.

The recent ReactJS license controversy is dangerous to the React community. Don't you think developer or companies will now think twice before adopting React? or React Native? Do you see it as a blow to the flourishing react community?
Well my boy, you have definitely triggered a great discussion on the JavaScript topic. What a lovely thought. Liked it. :) JavaScript defines today's web. From the servers to the clients, its presence can be felt everywhere. However, it is not the perfect language. It's not perfectly created for web. While companies like Google still try to make JavaScript alternative(Dart, Go, etc), I believe we haven't found the perfect language yet.
Pick up any framework and it will get your work done easily. Today, comparisons are mostly done on the basis of number of packaged UI components each framework provides. This is completely unfair. The comparisons should be done on basis of what code quality they come with. I having been using Foundation for a while now. I don't see any reason to switch to other frameworks sometime soon.
IMO, React is the best option available today. Polymer is still in Tech Preview, but React is widely used by many big websites. Recently, react conf talked about so many useful features of React and released some breakthrough additions. I think the future is React, not Polymer.
