I’m Sanjiv Sutar, an Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience in frontend and backend engineering, specialising in React, Next.js and Node.js.
I’ve led engineering teams, grown a team from 20 to 25 engineers, and led the move of legacy platforms to React and Next.js, including work that cut build times by about 30%. I also design and ship my own AI-powered products, like Sutra, the chat assistant on my site, using Gemini and Groq within free API limits.
Here I write about frontend architecture, performance, accessibility, leading engineering teams, and getting real value from AI-assisted engineering. I’m based in Mumbai, India.
