Thanks for sharing this, I have also been going through the same though I am not a FAANG developer. This article definitely helped me understand and emphasize on what I have been thinking, getting the senior role or more money doesn't make me happy, either I am frustrated in the process or trying to find something else after achieving it, but finding purpose that brings happiness and learning to get a balance is the key to success and mental health.
