I read your article as I am at a similar stage on a project: Reading previous code before adding further custom code. I loved the part where you explained about the inter-personal effect your actions had on your team. That documented experience is rare to find vs rote advice. Thanks a lot for sharing this valuable information.
thanks! I noticed you are just in the ninth grade. Well done on getting started so early! I started when I was two years older than that. But I didn't really accomplish much due to wrong learning strategies. Do you think it'll be a good idea to write a post about how differently I wish I had learnt programming to succed faster ?
I gave blogging a try last year in lockdown. I created a standalone blog using a gatsby js template. That meant I had to take care of everything from managing hosting to promotion and SEO. If you are starting out, I do not recommend that part. Without a sizable audience, your blog will hardly get any visitors. Utilizing a platform is the right choice in the beginning. I wrote my first post on hashnode detailing the lessons I've learnt in the last one year since I began blogging. You can read it here https://saheelwagh.hashnode.dev/10-lessons-from-10-months-of-not-blogging . Let me know which points resonate with you the most and I will write about it in depth in future articles.
