Remote desktop connection is always a possibility for accessing other PCs. Tools like Anydesk make it very easy to take control of other systems.

If you're talking about Session Manager, yes, it is a great service for accessing instances but you require advanced IAM privileges to access it. My focus was towards accessing EC2 without using the console, with a minimal IAM role.
