Hello everyone I am Victor Valdez, I am a third year in university pursuing a major in Economics and Finance, with a passion for programming! I am self-taught programmer and currently work as a part time web developer for my university working with Django. Right now I am learning more about web development by learning more about different javascript frameworks. I am currently learning about Meteor and React to create some simple applications and projects!

I got my first computer when I was 10 years old and it was running windows XP. Coming from a less wealthy family I definitely tried my best to keep it in good shape. One of my fondest memories is that one day I was messing around with keyboard shortcuts and I managed to rotate the screen 90 degrees. I left my screen like that for at least 6 months before I figured out how to turn back to the default screen position because I was to scared to mess with any more settings.
