Thanks for your kind words and feedback. I'm glad you found it useful and informative. Personally, I do feel that Kotlin makes this scope function unnecessarily complex. That was my first impression, and I still do. Thanks again for reading and taking the time to share your thoughts with me.

FYI - I just upgraded to Android Studio Electric Eel, it breaks my app instantly. Clean project and Invalidate Caches don't work. I have to delete the .gradle folder in the user folder. It is pretty big, so it takes a while. Luckily it works after that, phew. :)
