Although pertuzumab's mode of action is multifaceted, it primarily depends on preventing HER2 receptor dimerisation. In other words, pertuzumab stops HER2 from attaching to other HER receptors, which in turn stops a number of signalling pathways from being activated, all of which support the development and survival of tumour cells. Cervical cancer growth is slowed by this particular activity, which may also increase the cancer cells' sensitivity to other treatments. Additionally, new studies have indicated that pertuzumab might work better in conjunction with other therapies like chemotherapy or even drugs like zantac eff tab 25 mg, which is being studied for its potential to lessen gastrointestinal side effects during cancer treatment even though it is best known for treating heartburn.
