If there's something I find beneficial to someone else's repo that I can help out with, because I'm using it, then I'll let them know.

Public repos on GitHub are much like NPM packages, lots of hype and adoption with zero follow-through a year into everyone becoming dependent on it. Then fork, fork, fork, fork. This is why I'm a true believer that it was better when we had to wait a year or two for a new version.

Now "iterations", in my mind, are defined as excuses for not doing things correctly the first time.
