I'm not a gamer but I can play some interesting .io games(for example on http://iospace.games/ ). They are a new genre of free to play web based games. Although even that description is starting blur as many .io games are now appearing for mobile devices and Miniclip has just released a .io game that can even be played on the Xbox.
