It seems like the monthly costs are on the rise currently due to the massive amount of tools that help us developers with our work. It might be interesting to know how much users spend monthly to see how you compare against others.
Maybe the list will help beginners to see which services/tools can help them out.
I'll start with mine:
Toggl - Time Tracking - 20$
DeployHq - Deployments - 140$
Github - Repositories - 40$
Sentry - Error Tracking - 50$
AWS - Staging Servers - 50$
Postman - API Developing and Testing - 20$
Mailchimp - Client Emails - 20$
All together, along with the tools I have forgotten to list, it should come around to 500$ / month.
It looks like your paying for tools your employer should be paying for?
The only things I personally pay for is:
cell phone - $100 / month - T-Mobile
$60 / month for internet connection to the house - Verizon Fios.
Everything else is a tool to get a job done and either the day job or side job picks it up - Browser Stack, Adobe CC fees, etc... None of this includes hosting for either job which range from hundreds to thousands a month.

Would love to find a free replacement for Freckle but unfortunately nothing comes close. Also would like to drop CircleCI in favour of Amazon's code pipeline and code deploy services... just haven't taken the time to read up on it yet.
