Hi, I work as a team lead and have recruited many devs.
You know some React but are eager to gain more experience in the field. Be honest about it in the CV and interview. Show the passion to the employer. I would rather hire a passioned junior then a tired senior.
Do you have other skills that is valuable for the position as developer? Other technologies/libraries/languages? Do you have any domain specific skills? Have you worked in banking/telecom/whatever? Show that.
As someone said: put your work online. Github, blogs, etc. Show your future employer this!
