React + Laravel is not a good option right now. React only plays well with Node.js.

@Janet Brown its not so. React is for front end it can communicate with anything in backend. But we are stuck because we also need server side rendering.

@chiraggalaxy its live DocsTub.com you can check out. Laravel as API and React + Redux + Express as Web App consuming that API.
