But when you are early stage and expecting someone to work with you i'm assuming you are expecting Partner/Co-founder/Startup mate for that you have evaluate a person very carefully and my suggestion is hangout in some meetups (if you are having time) else evaluate in your connection.
Why i'm little rude or strict on this ?
The reason behind being little strict is you are building your core team and this is the only right time to build a right team. Why a team, Going forward if you are approaching for funding 70% of the investor funds or believe in team (Stats provided by Silicon valley team).

Even i have found and seen personally if you add your team member in 2 Slide or 2nd Page 50% percent things sorted and also this helps you to show case how much you believe in your team which helps your audience to connect with more. And also co-founder should also have same or more enthusiasm because you guys are going to build next venture from scratch and also person should have ballin his pants because he is gong to spend time in same room or cabin or desk more than time he will spend with his family or wife.
