1) Ok so I think the thing I try to keep to is to be genuine. Sounds cheesy, I know, but it's true. I don't talk about stuff that doesn't interest me, I try to put out there or signal boost stuff that I myself would want to see. If you do that, you're probably pretty likely to gather some likeminded folks or people that are interested in the same stuff that you're into. If you put out tweets that you yourself would hate seeing, wellllll... let's just say, you're not going to attract people you can even get along with.
2) Ok so here's the thing that I think is so funny about the spaces vs tabs thing. Nowadays, we all use these editors that, for the most part, are parsing things to be consistent for us.
So people who say they're spaces people are writing a tab to equal two spaces.
People who say they're into tabs are writing a tab, and that equals two spaces.
...do you see what I'm getting to? I think at this point in the game, a lot of us are just doing the same thing and arguing because we like the debate :)
