What it is: A local first health PWA for private pain tracking, symptom journaling, and clinician ready exports.
Why: I wanted to build a health tool around failure conditions instead of ideal conditions. No forced account. No default cloud storage. No assumption that the user is calm, resourced, connected, or cognitively clear when they need the tool most.
PainTracker is also a reference implementation for Protective Computing, a systems design approach focused on vulnerable users, degraded conditions, privacy pressure, and real world instability.

Would love feedback on the trust surface, export flow, privacy language, and whether the app communicates its purpose clearly.
