I know how it feels as I've been asked the same question before but I do mention to the employers that as a full stack how can you expect me to fully remember every bit of coding for front-end and back-end and in several languages? It's almost impossible!

I'm the kind of developer who has books by my-side to reference if I need to re-go over something about it :) But in regards to what you're asking. This link will really help you, and point you where you need to go for the backend. I would recommend at looking at Python and using the framework Django (full stack framework) and you'll learn that really fast.

Thanks for answering the question. The learning path is quite long and it is much longer than the Frontend Developer path. As you already know how fragmented is Frontend development is with JavaScript. I am crossing my finger for WASM, I have learnt python but for algorithm and data structure problems not for learning framework. Let me know any prerequisite for learning Django.

You can read about MVC frameworks and databases. But sooner rather than later, you'll just have to get started. Choose a simple website idea and start building. Look up or ask about what you don't understand.

I got to agree with Mark about the MVC, if you can understand this architecture it pretty much unlocks the doors also to JavaScript + PHP, Angular as its very similar. Really all you need is HTML / Python with Django, and then if you want to make it dynamic you simply just link in the libraries and requirements you want. :) It might look like a headache but once you've got head around it, its a lot simpler than you think ;)
