I've tried Swift, and I use it in order to create applications. I highly recommend trying out the language. By looking at your tagline I believe you work with the Javascript programming language. There is a bit of Javascript, syntactically, in swift. For example, when you define variables in swift you would have to type var before the variables name. I say if your coming from the Javascript programming language, swift would be a breeze. Give it a try! :)
