I'm learning python and data visualisation, heading towards the frontiers of Machine Learning. But I'm on the business-side rather than IT-side so development isn't my talent. There's a trend towards 'low code programming'. What do you think of it as a professional developer platform for software engineers?
j
stuff ;)
There are certain fields and applications where this can be useful but at some level trade-offs have to be made and these trade-offs natural will limit the level of application.
As a professional plattform outside of agency and 'simple business needs' I think you will still need the option of a scripting language as plugins to keep the flexibility while focusing on your core case.
I don't know enough about your ideas, there are loads of cases where you could generate a workflow tooling that generates data structures and has certain business widgets. and this combined with a nice ML that 'guestimates' my needs can be really useful for a lot of people who don't want to be super technical.
These are some of my thoughts :)
