Because AI is moving closer to the device.
That sounds exciting.
But it also creates a brutal product question:
Is your app actually designed for AI?
Most teams are still treating AI like a button:
Click → wait → response.
That is lazy product design.
If AI becomes more local, faster, and more available, users will expect smarter experiences everywhere.
Not slow add-ons.
Not awkward chat windows.
Not “AI beta” features nobody trusts.
They will expect:
instant suggestions
context-aware flows
offline intelligence
lower latency
better privacy
fewer manual steps
The winners will not be apps that “add AI.”
The winners will be apps redesigned around useful AI moments.
If you are planning AI in your web or mobile product, don’t just ask which model to use.
Ask where AI should live in the user journey.
