I have to admit I prefer the ES6 version simply because it actually uses the word "reduce". I have no idea at a glance what fromPairs does.

That being said, if the codebase already uses lodash extensively, I believe it's better to be consistent so that the reader (which includes the author!) isn't constantly switching context.

My belief is that it is the same for all libraries or frameworks (guava, django, etc.).

In the context of a library, I prefer a native implementation that allows you to avoid knowing the library, and in the context of a framework, I recognize that you need to know the framework to get as close as possible to it.
