What's with the hatred towards Angular? I am not huge on the front-end personally, but I have built Angular apps in an earlier life. I am still taking baby steps towards React.

Could someone elaborate on what are the things specifically wrong with Angular?

I think that angular 1 was "one of the best" when he was released. But now new standard exist (React... Redux-like architecture which offer better architecture for "big project"). I've learn Angular 2, but this framework is a little bit overcomplicated (annotation, you need to use typescript, syntax ...), i've learn vue 2 too, and vue is so much simpler to use. I think that they have failed with angular 2 and lots of developers don't like this framework for this reasons.
