Short Answer: Yes.
Long Answer: Take a deep breath, go for a walk, and come back to your studies with a clear mind and a concrete plan of attack. Don't try to tackle everything at once. Make an easy to complete list of tasks to follow while learning and don't look to far ahead too often.
Focus on the task at hand. Be like the race horses who wear blinders; the more information you try to take in at once, the easier it is to become overwhelmed.
Above all else, don't become impatient. I was impatient once, and that caused me to think I could take on 26 credit hours in a semester and stay sane. I ended up with a nervous breakdown. Lesson learned, and now I'm a bit wiser and hopefully I can impart that message to others that were once in my shoes.
