One person says tech hiring is dead.
Another says job postings are the highest they’ve seen in years.
Meanwhile, someone with 11 years of experience says it took 564 applications to get one offer.
So which is it?
Maybe the truth is uglier:
jobs exist
trust is low
hiring is slower
junior roles are brutal
experience no longer guarantees speed
The tech market isn’t “dead.”
It’s just become emotionally exhausting.
Question:
Does tech still feel like a smart career bet, or just a high-paying anxiety machine?
