you have full access to cryptographic options the main issue with an request / reponse based language like php is the sync.

Bill Gates I would not say with ease, but yes. it is possible, for example online wallets for bitcoins and such things.

I am not sure what you want to build or why you need the blockchain. without this information all I can say, it's possible.
