From my point of view, it is completely the opposite. There are frameworks that don't even want you to touch the DOM. How can you claim that framework gives you full freedom ('just' assemble blocks? buzzword) when you can't even control the DOM and have to go through a 'magic' diffing algorithm.
If based on your explanation, library is some sorcery, there is certainly more magic going on on the other side.
Also, how can you even say that a library is a ready toy, while it is a lower level implementation compared to a framework. If a library is a ready toy, a framework is at best a resin statue.
I do not know the libraries you work with, but there so many low level libraries that do not fit at all to your description.
Misrepresentation really forces others to defend one party against the other. Such a nonobjective stance you take here that benefits no body.
