It's not your official project, it's just something fun you want to do on evenings and weekends. What kinds of collaboration tools do you use?
My combo is Slack, Trello, Bitbucket. Sometimes, Gitlab and ZenHub. For screen share, zoom or hangout is good. I am a contributor to side projects :) So, tried quite a lot.
Asana for project management (free account) Bitbucket for git repos Hangouts for communication
My personal combo is to use to Atlasssian toolbox (including JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket). They are super complete, though a bit on the pricy side. But they offer a wide range of possibilities, and it's a great way to handle a project in general.
Now, with Github projects you also have a great tool available for handling collaboration with other developers, though it has less functionalities than JIRA !
Aside, of course Slack is a must I think (some people start to use Discord around here !). I also recommend Paw for teams, a super good tools when coming to API's.
I'm using:
Gitlab now has a neat little kanban board embedded in projects. Very useful for task managemet.
This is what I have been using:
I prefer to use Postman Plugin for Chrome to test APIs, but PAW is nice too!
