I don't know if it's a good way, but I just do this:
- Install read-later software (I use Pocket)
- Start working on some project
- Get stuck, look something up
- Open or save all the links that look interesting
- Google things I don't understand
- Repeat the previous steps for each page found
On average, I find more than 1 interesting link per page, so I end up with an ever-growing list of interesting things to read.
I also send some RSS feeds to Pocket.
