How do you feel about Azure? All I've used are the micro service functions, VM, and SQL Server but I wasn't that impressed a few months ago and preferred AWS. Azure seemed slower to me. However, this just came out:
Which I was actually pretty surprised to see. Granted it's just a report. Just wanted to hear the general consensus around here on Azure, especially vs. AWS.
Although I preferred AWS at the time, I did of course appreciate he Azure integration with the .NET stack that I worked with!
Hashnode runs on Azure.
In term of user experience and ease of management, AWS wins hands down. I don't think I ever had to read a tutorial to do anything with AWS. With Azure, even their UI is annoying and it's hard to find where is what. To give you a simple example, to get a cluster of docker containers up and running on AWS, it takes me anywhere b/w 3 and 5 mins. On Azure, it's about 15 mins.
That being said, Azure's pricing plan is very pro-startups and I'm super grateful for that.
I am not expert into this but this may help you.

Microsoft Azure is definitely catching up with AWS. Their service is good and reliable. I do believe that the overall UX in AWS is better than that of Azure. Also, the friction is bit more in Azure when compared to AWS. For example, concepts such as subscriptions, directories etc were very difficult to understand at first. In the end developers (or any web user) prefer things that are simple and straightforward. However, if you ignore some of these issues, Azure is pretty good and I have no other complaints.
