Depends on if I were new on the team or have been there for awhile. If I was new, I'd use whatever they used, even if I didn't prefer it. But, if I were there for some time, I'd at least suggest something different, if I could see a benefit to it. Visual Studio can do a front end just fine, I imagine. I haven't used it solely for that purpose. If I'm working on a .NET project, it's my go-to choice. I mostly program in PHP these days, so Aptana Studio is open all day long on my desktop, and it works mostly well for me.
