3D on the web should be an enhancement, not a barrier to entry. If the core user experience is locked behind a massive loading screen and a heavy GPU tax, it’s bad UX, no matter how impressive the shaders look.
100% agreed. If the 'wow' factor requires the user to sacrifice their device's performance, the implementation has failed the core purpose of a website. 3D should be an progressive enhancement that respects the user’s hardware, not a barrier they have to overcome just to read a bio.
