prototyping -> in CS is writing a basic implementation focused on the core functionality to be replaced with the final implementation.
it's really that simple.
Meteor is an "out of the box" application framework. So obviously it's good for "fast prototyping". We can now argue about the overall quality and that frameworks are monsters but that would be besides the point.
