The paralysis happens when there’s no strategy to clean it up post-launch. A framework I've used to combat this is the 'Yes, and...' approach with PMs: 'Yes, we can hit this aggressive deadline, and we will explicitly schedule a two-week cleanup sprint right after to handle the debt.' It keeps things visible and manageable.
