I am an advanced Wordpress-Integrator and rookie Web-Dev that works with HTML5, CSS3 and WP. In the future, I´d like to create a paid-membership community that enables people to have profiles, create projects (for real creative projects of their own) and look for people to help them and after helping either pay them with money or in exchange offer their skills to help on some projects of the hired guy (which is more favored then the payment via money).
Also seperate from that, I´d like to dive deep into programming for portable VR Devices (working on interactive stories in Unity (which would be C# I guess) for mobile devices which interact heavily with audio).
So I subscribed to the german version of lynda.com and would like to know which programming languages I should learn / which other knowledge and in which order?
Would be awesome if you could help me with that :)
Greetings, Marvin
Assuming you are going to build a membership website I suggest the following path :
I don't have any experience with vr or gaming, so can't comment on that.
Good Luck!

I am inclined to say you should learn JavaScript first, it will give you the ability to build almost anything on web. Wordpress is moving to JS in near future, so that makes sure your skills will still be relevant in wordpress world.
Regarding VR, it seems C# is the way to go. You can learn it once you are done with JS.
