I wish I could just code the whole day (something that I really love doing). However, that's far from reality.
Here are a few things I do at Hashnode, every day:
- Paperwork, paperwork, and a lot of paperwork: Every other day there's something I have to do to keep Hashnode running. Includes legal work, bank work, taxes, etc.
- Hiring: I have to go through profiles of various applicants and interview them.
- Investors: Well, I have to prepare reports for our investors too. Being a funded company isn't easy. You have to share well-formatted slides and stats reports to the investors bi-weekly.
- Development: Right now, I am involved in the frontend development of Hashnode. That includes design as well.
- One-to-one meeting with various teams: Take part in discussions with the content team, marketing team, and development team every day to decide priorities.
- Other Misc. things: Replying to emails, chatting with Hashnode users, participating in discussions and others. 🤨
